RSpace is an eLab Notebook enabling intuitive organisation of lab data and access to shared resources. It aims to connect data in labs, labs with their institutions, and the institutions with their funders and the public. As an early-stage tech company, RSpace needed strategic marketing to bring them in line with their competitors, and asked me to design a new logo and provide some guidance on branding. The logo needed to be contemporary, friendly and in some way convey ‘connectivity’, which I did using the dots in an abstract ‘S’ shape. The logo was also divided into two divisions differentiated by colour – RSpace Community and RSpace Enterprise.
